HE LIED TO HER.

 From the beginning, woman has been the first and easy target of Satan’s subtlety and lies. In the garden of Eden, He said to the woman: “hath God said, ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?” With just this question, he extracted a most vital information from her and presented to her a lie. That old serpent, the devil, shattered the truth of God’s word right in the face of the woman.

 

…And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die, for God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. (Gen 3:4-5)

“Ye shall not surely die” what a big lie. God, your father and maker already said:” …for in the day that thou eatest thereof, thou shalt surely die” (Gen 2:17); and then a total stranger stands before you and tells you otherwise, calling the word of God a lie and presenting his lie as truth. But what was Satan up to with these lies? He wanted to discredit God, he wanted to make mankind disregard God.  And remarkably, his lie appealed to the woman, she bought in quickly and cheaply, sharing in Satan’s rebellion against God.

 

In our world today, the woman is still being lied to and she is sheepishly living Satan’s lies.  Satan has again said to the woman:

“Has God said He created you very good? That’s not true; you are not beautiful the natural way you were made; you need to correct the errors He made while you were being created. 

 

You were supposed to have holes in your ears and nose so you could carry earrings and nose rings, but He forgot to put them there; so please help Him correct it.

 

Oh! You were supposed to be light skinned, but He created you dark, bleach off the nonsense.

 

Girl, your face was supposed to be spotless and shinning with your lips and eyelids in bright colours, please make it up.

 

Your finger nails were supposed to be very long and painted in different colours, fix them.

 

Your hair was supposed to be curly, full, long, changing in colour and design per time; my dear correct the error with weavons and attachments.

 

Oh! Daughter of Eve, I know God told you that you respect your womanhood and honor Him when you dress properly covering your nakedness. Yes! That was why He made coats of skin for them in the Garden of Eden because the aprons of figs which they made for themselves could not cover their nakedness properly. But Listen to me woman; you look hot and sweet in your apron of fig leaves, while cover yourself in that old fashioned coat of skin. Come on, show them your hot thighs, expose your delicate parts, walk the streets near-naked. That’s my girl.”

Again, it’s remarkably unfortunate how widely accepted these lies have become that even the church over time did not only accept but now promotes these lies. How can a daughter of God not be different from “Satan’s girl”? How come there’s no longer any difference between a Deborah and a Delilah? How did we allow the world to influence us so greatly such that we can no longer take our stand in the truth? That old serpent, Satan, the devil which deceives the whole world is kept on celebration mood as multitudes of Christians embrace his lies daily. I am sure he would have said many times: “They say they are God’s, but my biddings they always do”. All that He is pursuing is to make a mockery of God.

 

The truth is not always attractive hence,not many persons can embrace it. But lie is always appealing and attractive. It looks good and pleasant to the eyes, so the multitude buy it easily. But it doesn’t matter if the whole world embraces a lie, it can never become the truth.

God’s standard is holiness (internal and external) and He will never compromise it. He would rather engrace the willing to meet His standard than lower His standard for any reason. Holiness is walking in the truth, rejecting Satan’s lies.  Jesus is that truth, His word is the truth. He has said: Nevertheless the foundation of the Lord standeth sure, having this seal: the lord knowest them that are His and let everyone that nameth the name of the Lord depart from iniquity. Any act or practice that feeds carnality is iniquity. Iniquity is sowing to the flesh. And the bible says: “He that sows to the flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption.”

Therefore, Woman, come out from amongst them and be ye converted.
